.. surounded and hidden by a thick buxus-hedge.
On saturday I took part on an excursion to the palace garden of Grafenegg. There we discovered a rather strange building surrounded and hidden by a huge buxus-hedge. It looked somehow like a former fireplace, which has been rebuilt to the natural history museum of the local "Jägerschaft".
The castle of grafenegg (no ... I didn't paint it ... but my mobile phone camera did ...)
The natural history museum ...
... and it's current exhibition.

this is an artwork by mark dion called the" buchsdom tower". i heared a strange story about this. after the opening of the exhibition somebody opened the tower burried the deer, put a stone on its grave "r.i.p." written on it and closed the tower again. a friend of mine who visited this work didn´t recognize the sabotage because there was no demolition and wondered that there was no deer in the tower. now it is restorated again as i can see on the photo. i´ve never heard a story about such funny way of sabotage....
